THE PRACTICAL PART

Your pantry, with a little help.

From choosing your staples to finding a refill routine: what you can do today, and how to arrange a local refill.

Start with the shelf you already have.

A useful pantry is personal. Maybe yours starts with oats and lentils; maybe it is rice, pasta, and the spices you reach for every evening. Browse the pantry by category, open a product for its description and listed ingredients, and choose an amount by weight. You do not need to commit to a large bag just because the food comes from a bulk supply.

For your first request, think about a few meals you already make. Replenish the staples behind those meals, then try a small amount of something new. My Pantry gives you a place to note your containers, their contents, and what is running low.

Choose how much help you want.

The cart offers three ways to request a refill. Shopper delivery uses refill bags that you empty into your own containers. Tote swap uses returnable food containers. A full-service visit adds time for a provisioner to help refill and organize your pantry. These choices involve different amounts of preparation, packaging, washing, and time.

An in-home visit should start with a conversation. Agree on the work, access to your home, and what you want left alone. An organized kitchen is only helpful if it works for the person who uses it. You should not need a matching collection of new jars to take part.

A request comes before a confirmed visit.

PantryDay is an early, local marketplace. Find a provisioner or become one: local people decide what they stock and where they serve. You can browse prices and submit an order request in the supported Manchester, NH ZIP codes. A preferred date is a request, not a confirmed booking. Availability, the address, ingredients, and the final plan need review before an order can be accepted.

Food is priced by weight, with service and packaging deposit estimates shown separately. The pricing guide explains portions and fulfillment estimates. Provisioners connect their own Square accounts to accept payments. After a provisioner accepts your order and prepares payment, you can pay through Square. Submitting a request alone does not book a delivery or charge your card.

Build a routine you can adjust.

We want a refill to be a conversation that gets easier with familiarity: what did you finish, what is still sitting there, and what would help next time? Ask your provisioner about weekly or monthly visits; timing depends on their availability and your agreement.

A useful routine leaves room for holidays, a quieter week, and changing tastes. Buy less of the things you are not finishing. Keep the things that work. The aim is a pantry that supports your life, without another rigid system to maintain.
